Fresh-Catalyst Rule
The AI requires a specific, named catalyst from the last 1–2 trading days before entering any position. “Sector is green” doesn’t qualify. Earnings beat, government contract, or major analyst upgrade only.
No-Chase Threshold
Configure a maximum intraday gain before the agent will enter a stock. If a stock is already up 3%+ on the day without a fresh breakout, the agent skips it and waits for a pullback-and-reclaim setup.
Position Quality Review
At every scan, the agent evaluates every open position. If the original thesis is stale or the risk/reward no longer makes sense, the agent exits before the stop fires — catching dead trades early.
Two-Stage Exit Ladder
Sell half at your Stage 1 target, move the stop to breakeven, and let the rest run to Stage 2. Optional trailing stop after Stage 1 for momentum plays. Every stage is configurable.
SPY Circuit Breaker
If SPY drops more than your configured threshold in a single session, the agent exits all positions and halts new entries. Automatic protection against market-wide risk-off moves.
Stop-Loss on Every Trade
The agent places a stop-loss order in Robinhood immediately after every entry — no exceptions. Stop-loss orders execute automatically in Robinhood regardless of whether the agent is scanning.
Force-Exit Time
In intraday mode, all positions are closed by 3:55 PM ET regardless of P&L. No overnight holds, no getting caught in after-hours moves. Configurable to your preferred close time.
Smart Position Sizing
Set a target position size and a minimum floor. If buying power is below target but above the floor, the agent scales down and still enters. Below the floor, it skips the trade rather than overcommitting.
Log Thesis Before Entry
The agent is required to write a one-sentence catalyst thesis to the log before placing any buy order. If it can’t state a clear catalyst, it can’t make the trade. Eliminates impulsive entries.

What do I need to get started?
You need a Robinhood account, a Claude Pro subscription ($20/mo from Anthropic), and Claude Desktop installed on your computer. The Robinhood MCP connector is free and connects Claude to your account via Robinhood’s official API.
Is my money safe? Does TradeFlawless hold my funds?
TradeFlawless never has access to or custody of your money. Your funds stay in your Robinhood account at all times. The AI connects through an API connector — it can place orders on your behalf, but your account credentials and funds remain entirely with you and Robinhood.
What happens if the AI makes a bad trade?
Every trade has a stop-loss order placed immediately in Robinhood — so even if the agent isn’t scanning, your downside is capped. The Position Quality Review also catches deteriorating theses before the stop fires, typically exiting at −1% to −3% instead of the full stop loss.
Can I run this on a small account?
Yes. TradeFlawless works on any account size. You set the position size target and minimum floor — the agent scales down if buying power is limited and skips trades only when buying power falls below your minimum floor.
What trading style does this support?
TradeFlawless supports intraday, swing, and momentum trading styles. In intraday mode, all positions are force-closed before market close. In swing mode, the agent can hold positions overnight and across multiple days. You choose your trading mode in the builder.
